                      Splashtop Authenticator Transfer User Guide

1. Login to your splashtop account in https://my.splashtop.com/login.
2. Click on your 'Account logo', then go to 'Account Info'.
   
   
   
3. Under 'Account Summary' look for 'Two-step Verification' then click the '(Change)' to turn off your old authenticator.
   
   
   
4. You will be prompted for verification for turning off the two-step verification. After verifying your password and captcha, click 'OK'.
   
   
   
5. After turning off the Two-Step Verification click again the '(Change)' to register the new Phone for your Authenticator.
   
   
   
6. You will be prompted to register a Authenticator for your account. Click 'Get Started' to proceed.
   
   
   
7. Download your 'Microsoft Authenticator App' on your new mobile device then click 'Next'.
   
   
   
8. Next scan scan the QR Code or enter the secret key manually using your Microsoft Authenticator App, after registering splashtop authenticator to your new device click 'Next'.

9. After scanning the QR code, the account will appear on your Microsoft authenticator, click the account to check the 6-digit code.
   
   
   
10. Importantly save the 10 Recovery Codes then click ‘Check’ and Next button.
    1. Check the ‘I have printed or saved these codes’
    2. Put in your mobile number as recovery next click on 'Check' .
       
       
       
       
11. Then click 'OK' after that you have successfully registered your splashtop account to your new device.
